La Porte Airport’s Air Race Classic

The La Porte Municipal Airport is thrilled to be the first stop in this year’s Air Race Classic!

Racers will depart from Carbondale, IL on June 18 and head towards La Porte Municipal Airport. Volunteers will be timing, fueling, and feeding the racers.

The public is welcome to come watch and cheer on these amazing racers! We do ask that non-racers remain outside of the terminal building so that racers have access to the resources they need to do a quick turn and head back out to the next stop of the race.
