CLEAR LAKE TRAIL

The Clear Lake Trail allows for anglers, bicyclists, joggers and pedestrians to enjoy the shore of Clear Lake in Fox Park. The first phase of the trail was constructed in 2018 along the southern edge of the lake, from McClung Road to Detroit Street. Parking is located in three locations along the trail. Future plans call for completing a loop trail around the entire lake and connecting to the Chessie Trail through NewPorte Landing. AUG 2020 Clear Lake’s Boardwalk Bridge is under Construction. Once completed, the boardwalk will bridge the multiuse trail along Clear Lake to a section connecting to the Chessie Trail in NewPorte Landing. The improvements around the lake, funded by the Healthcare Foundation of La Porte and Redevelopment Commission, are transforming our community into a more active and healthier place to live.
