ALLESEE PARK

City of La Porte parks are open from sunrise until 10 p.m.

Allesee Park is a 6-acre neighborhood park on the south side of the city. It was developed adjacent to a housing subdivision to provide recreational facilities to the neighborhood. Improvements, including a new shelter and walking trail, were made in 2000 thanks to a donation by the Allesee family. In 2016, the playground was replaced with funds from the La Porte Park Foundation.
