Farmers & Artisans in La Porte, Indiana

Farms, Food, and Art Culture is part of everyday life and tourism in La Porte. La Porte’s local Farms, Orchards, Farmers’ Market, and the Jackson Street Community Garden aim to bring authentic farm-fresh produce to La Porte restaurants, as well as, strengthen the local food movement in our community.

The La Porte Art Scene is alive in Historic Downtown La Porte with the local-artisan commissioned “The History of La Porte” mural, The Little Theater Club, and a growing list of Artisan galleries. La Porte’s goal is to foster a vibrant community of regional artists who create art, music, and culture within our city. Farmers, Artisans, and traditions like apple picking, Saturday mornings downtown, The La Porte City Band, and Arts in the Park are bringing our community together.
